The NDSEG fellowship also provides stipends, prorated monthly based on a 12- month academic year. Stipend amounts are determined for each Fellowship class by the DoD. The monthly stipend is $3,400 ($40,800 annually).
While serving under the NDSEG Fellowship Program, fellowship recipients are NOT considered independent contractors and are NOT employees of either the United States DOD or Innovative Technology Solutions JV, LLC (ITS JV, LLC) the administrators of the program.
An NDSEG fellow may be granted one or more deferrals from the NDSEG Program. A fellow may receive up to 12 months in deferral(s). Deferrals may be granted under the following conditions with prior written CO approval:
The NDSEG Fellowship will pay for the minimum health insurance coverage offered through the institution, up to a total value of $1,400 annually.
The NDSEG fellowship will pay the fellow’s full tuition and required fees (excluding room and board).
